Caring for your Turtle Island Moccasins are easy!

Work boot with Buffalo Toe Cap
8 years of wear and 2 resolings

Don't be afraid to get them wet!

Please use either of the following oil products:

100% pure mink oil, liquid formula from the original Mink Oil Co. out of Portland, Oregon.
100% pure Neatsfool oil made by Lexol

If footwear is worn almost everyday, please oil about once a month.
If worn less, oil them after wearing, before storage.

If shoes beome fragerant or very dirty (muddy) please feel free to throw them in the washing using cold water and gentle soap, then allow to hang and dry. Once they are dy, oil very heavily with either of the recomended oil products.

DO NOT USE
any of the following products:

Beef tallow -
makes leather go rancid which makes it stiff and weak
Silicon by-products -
breaks down fibers in leather which makes it weak
Bees wax or snow seal -
glue for resoling will not bond to hold for stitching

If these products are used, our warranty will no longer exist.
